Larry and Colette Young

Larry and Colette Young have a passion for the outdoors and nature. Not only are they avid hunters, they are also stewards of the land and extensively develop wildlife at their Texas ranch. Their attention to detail is evident the moment you pull through the 10-2-4 Ranch gate. That detail is a recurring theme and is embedded in every step of your stay.

Our Staff

  • Adam Jauch (Hunting Guide)

    Adam is a certified instructor for the Texas Parks and Wildlife and has a degree of Preserve Management from Southeastern Illinois College. He is a certified shooting instructor for the NSCA and designs sporting clay courses. Adam has guided hundreds of bird and deer hunts, is an expert dog trainer and an official certified Safari Club International scorer.

  • Austin Greer (Hunting Guide)

    Austin is an avid predator hunter and specializes in trapping. Austin is in the works of becoming a Certified Grand Master Waterfowl Hunter with UWC. He also enjoys long range shooting and teaching others the fundamentals of gun safety. Austin has guided exotics and whitetail hunts all over Texas.

  • Jason Loban (Executive Chef)

    Jason, an authentic Texan, attended the Cordon Bleu in Dallas, which places him on the Ranch as Fine Dining talent! His experience includes Cowboy's Golf Club, Executive Chef at Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton, Colorado; Heritage Eagle Bend and Sulphur Springs Country Club, providing all customers with great food and excellent service! In his free time, you can find Jason on the golf course or competing in billiard tournaments (watch out, he's a shark!).

  • Dustee Daugherty (Office Manager)

    Dustee came to the ranch after 13 years of Ag Teaching. She worked in the banking industry through college and has kept books & records for multiple businesses. Dustee has a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Agricultural Sciences from Texas A&M University-Commerce. In her free time she enjoys cooking and baking where she also operates her own cake business.

  • Sherry Craig (Housekeeper)

    Sherry goes above and beyond when it comes to guests feeling at home at the ranch. She retired from L-3Harris after 26 years working in many roles with the last being a Structural Planner. In her free time she enjoys crafting and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

  • Melinda Shields (Housekeeper)

    Melinda came to the ranch after retiring from the school system. She will make you feel right at home during your stay and you might even get to have one of her home cooked breakfasts. Melinda enjoys working in her flower beds at home and cooking for her family!

  • Izaac Guerrero (Wildlife Assistant)

    Izaac is an avid fisherman and outdoorsman making him a great asset to our hunting area. He comes from Idaho where he worked on a cow-calf operation and was a ski instructor. In his spare time he is a musician and enjoys playing the piano. He is a longtime golfer and continues to play every week.

  • Richard Rankin (Chief Engineer of Maintenance)

    Richard joined the ranch in 2014 as Chief Engineer of Maintenance over all of the properties. He enjoys fishing, golfing, and working on collector vintage vehicles. His furry helpers and companions are his dogs, Scruffy and Buckwheat. Although Richard works mainly in the background, hunters will see him helping with the various activities going on around the ranch.
